FAQs
A few FAQs
What health issues do I need to worry about? Minuets can be prone to PKD (very common health problem in Persians, all our kings and queens are negative for PKD) Osteoarthritis due to the shortened limbs. And some skin issues. Some minuets will have teary eyes that are prone to Persians. It is best to study both munchkins and Persian health conditions so that you are well informed on what health condition could be with Minuets.
What do you look for in a breeding Queen or King? I look for a lot of factors. I want my queen or king to fit to TICA standards for the breed as much as possible. I look at their mouth and how the teeth are. I check their legs and make sure there aren't any deformities.
What is their lifespan? Where minuets are still a new breed, the exact lifespan isn't established. Generally you can prepare to spend about a decade at least.
Do you offer a guarantee? Yes we do. It is all lined out in our contract. If you want to read over our contract please email me and I will send you a sample.
What is a minuet? Minuets are a cross between Persian and munchkins. Most will call it the persian munchkin. It's really a combining of the best of both breeds into one. It use to be call Napoleon.
Do you offer breeding rights? I do, but I have requirements and breeders' contract and cost a bit more.
